There’s nothing more grievous than the end of a wonderful road trip. I certainly care about going out into the world, seeing new sights plus finding great adventures. I also care about being able to connect with friends plus family that I haven’t been able to see in a long time… Both of these factors combined make it seriously saddening when we arrive at our driveway plus the reality of daily life kicks back in. Realizing there will be no late evenings enjoying the novel scenery or lazy days catching up with loved ones is quite dispiriting. It really doesn’t help when you come back to your home to discover that your entire Heating, Ventilation & A/C machine has gone down while you were away. This is exactly what happened the other month when we opted to go on a quick weekend trip to my hometown plus returned to find that the house was completely void of any heating or cooling capabilities… When we got inside of our place, we immediately noticed the indoor air seemed quite stuffy plus cool. I went over to the temperature control machine plus was surprised to see that the temperature settings were totally appropriate. Taking a closer look, I found that both the gas furnace plus air conditioner were completely offline. After dragging all my bags upstairs, I told my fiance about the Heating, Ventilation & A/C discovery plus he promptly went on over to the temperature control machine to investigate what was going on. Sure enough, the whole ventilation machine had been struck by a lightning storm in our absence. After a relaxing trip back home, there’s entirely nothing as painful as being welcomed back by a $5000 Heating, Ventilation & A/C replacement bill.
