Construction workers actually have it rough. We work in the warmest of afternoons in addition to for the longest amount of time. I either am up on a roof with no cooling in addition to shade, or I am on tepid blacktop. Working outside in the south is always a hot one & humid ordeal… Last week, our construction build was a modern one. The job was fully indoors & all I had to do was help with the end touches to the walls in a modern office building. The best area of it all was that there was an industrial-grade air conditioner device running in the office building that kept the locale a frigid 73 degrees all afternoon long. I later learned that the owner of the office building wanted to keep the air conditioner running at a high degree even when they weren’t there. This was because of all the computer machines that was kept on. The computers, monitors in addition to other technology could overheat without any cooling. I found giving A/C to a computer odd, however it was so nice for me! I had become so used to being outside in the sun, the A/C almost felt cold. It was so great to not sweat to death in addition to need to wear tons of layers for skin protection. I also had access to drinking water in addition to a bathroom. It was like working in a luxury suite for me. All the workers took their sweet time in addition to did a good job. I don’t suppose anyone wanted to leave the office building.
