I am officially debt free. It took four years to get a degree and accrue a bunch of debt. It took me less than three years to pay off all my student loans. I am so relieved to have no debt. It is great not worrying about making monthly payments and freaking out over interests rates. I have just paid everything off, so right now I am poor. Unfortunately my HVAC equipment has the worst timing in the world. My central HVAC unit is no longer functional. I tried getting a HVAC repair and the HVAC professional has called it. He says that the heater and AC system will not work anymore. I need to rip out the old one and get a new system installed. The guy recommended for me to go with a ductless HVAC option. Unfortunately, that means I need to get the ductwork removed in my home, buy a ductless system and get thermostats for each room of the house. The cost of this HVAC technology is quite high. I don’t have the money for it right now. The HVAC contractor is trying to get me in a payment program. You can get the system and then pay it off slowly like student loans. The financing idea sounds horrible to me. I literally have just finished paying off my debt. I don’t want to accrue more debt again. The bill will be large too. It might even take me a year. I think I would rather get by with space heaters and a portable air conditioner before doing a payment program.
- Heater quit right when I returned home
- Can’t run the marathon-outside offers no AC
