Currently I use a hot water tank, but the hot water tank is what is storing the water for our shower, cooking and cleaning, and all the water that flows through pipes and comes out of faucets is from that one hot water tank. The hot water tank can only store so much though; So there are times that in our several family home, the seventh person who showers gets an ice bath. Also the water heating system cannot instantly heat the water. There is a decent wait time when it comes to getting hot water. Also in the Wintertime, you entirely want to wait for the water to turn warm, but it can take almost to several minutes to get even sort of warm. That is why I am thinking of upgrading to a tankless water heater. It seems more and more our winter temperatures are getting colder. It might be in our family’s best interest to have hot water when both of us want it. A tankless water heating system is not storing any water to heat it. The water is pumped and instantly heated right then and there. So the moment you turn on the hot water, you get it. Also since there is no certain amount stored, you don’t have to worry about running out of water, and how amazing is that? I have not looked into the cons of a tankless water heating system though. I am sure there is something wrong with the style of heating for your water, because you can’t have all enjoyable things. I bet our piping will not be right for that style or something else.
